Nokia goes public with guarantee against conflict-minerals. Nokias guarantee is given in Danish newspaper “Politiken” today 6 days before the premiere on Danish Documentary “Blood in the Mobile”. Nokia HQ wrote to us. They want see the film. We told them that we would like to come back to Finland and show them the film if they would comment on it. We even promised to release their comment uncut on the dvd. But they were not interested.
NAFA Filmfestival Arhus, Denmark
Tobacco Girl is having a run on its festival journey. From August 30th until September 1st the NAFA Filmfestival in Arhus/Denmark will screen the movie in its official selection.

Heart of Sarajevo for Best Documentary Film for The Seamstresses
Our film “The Seamstresses” by Biljana Garvanlieva (“Macedonian Dream”, “Tobacco Girl”) has won the award “Heart of Sarajevo for Best Documentary Film” at the 16th Filmfestival Sarajevo, which took place from 23 – 31 July 2010.
